Lavender growers for four generations, since 1916, we offer a quality essential oil that is organic and has a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Our family, the Fras, grows lavender at Lagarde d’Apt, at an altitude of 1, 100 metres between Ventoux and Luberon in France. We have been fully organic since 1979. Every year, our entire crop is PDO certified "Huile essentielle de lavande fine de haute Provence", guaranteeing its origin, traceability and quality. This cultivated lavender comes originally from wild plants, meaning it is a better lavender than a cloned one known as lavandula angustifolia, or a lavandin. We are producers of fine organic essential oils, organic super lavandin essential oils and fine organic lavender hydrosol. Our fine essential oils of lavender are made from organically grown plants, with no chemical or synthetic products. This means they are perfect for use in aromatherapy and cosmetics. Our products are available for sale in small or large quantities. Essential oils of lavender have multiple qualities and are used in cosmetics, massage, to combat stress, colds and even in cookery to make deliciously tasty lavender biscuits.

Packed exclusively in Italy, in the Tuscan commune of Lucca, the oils are subject to rigorous chemical and sensory quality controls. Independent laboratories approved by the International Olive Council regularly audit the verification process. Le Moulin offers a wide range of top quality oils from over 400 oil producers from the Haute Provence Alps. Since 1922, it has produced and manufactured locally-sourced extra virgin olive oil in a way that respects the environment and traditional techniques. Our olive oil has the peppery grassy taste characteristic of aglandau olives (90%). We also produce our range of Marseilles soaps using traditional cauldrons.

For several years our laboratory, located near to Avignon in southern France, has been studying the biological activities of essential oils. We are able to create one or more natural aromatic compositions to your exact specifications. We are distributors of essential oils for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and veterinary industries and direct to pharmacies. We also create blends of essential oils that combine proven biological properties (weight-loss, calming, hydrating, etc.) with highly attractive odours. On demand, we can create specific compositions for you (allergen-free, Ecocert certified, etc.). We have the in-house ability to carry out all physical controls, such as density, refraction index, optical deviation, etc., on all physical characteristics of essential oils.
