A successful alliance between tradition and modernity, Le Parfum Citoyen was designed in a historic workshop in the grasses region, guaranteeing traditional know-how passed on from one generation to the next, since 1888. Our great attention to detail, passion and respect for French traditional know-how sets us apart from mass production. Le Parfum Citoyen is available from over 400 resellers worldwide in over 11 countries including France: Nocibé, Blissim, Musée du Louvre etc. and on the brand's e-commerce website. In 2023 the brand opened up its know-how to the universe of interior perfumes by launching its collection of 100% vegetable top of the range traditionally made scented candles 100%, made by our wax maker at Grasse in Provence.

Our hard-driving, qualified team has many years' experience in the perfumery field and will come up with solutions for creating or distributing your perfumes. We have namely created a range of COSMOS certified 100% natural perfumes. We always seek to find innovation to create original fragrances. Thus we have modern, leading-edge facilities to reduce production lead times and extend our offer by adapting to our clients' constraints. We carry out strict controls of the ingredients that enter the composition of our perfumes in our own laboratory. Thanks to our software package, we also provide traceability. We have set up a network of suppliers outside the Grasse region that are based all over the world.

For several years our laboratory, located near to Avignon in southern France, has been studying the biological activities of essential oils. We are able to create one or more natural aromatic compositions to your exact specifications. We are distributors of essential oils for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and veterinary industries and direct to pharmacies. We also create blends of essential oils that combine proven biological properties (weight-loss, calming, hydrating, etc.) with highly attractive odours. On demand, we can create specific compositions for you (allergen-free, Ecocert certified, etc.). We have the in-house ability to carry out all physical controls, such as density, refraction index, optical deviation, etc., on all physical characteristics of essential oils. We also have our own gaseous phase chromatograph and mass spectrometer for identifying molecules. For all our organic and conventional essential oils, we work with suppliers from across the planet: from South Africa and Canada, China and Indonesia. Our number one goal is sourcing quality raw materials.
