    The company KERAMTECH, Ltd. Žacléř is one of the leading manufacturers of technical and foundry ceramics with an uninterrupted tradition of production since 1878.The primary product lines today are ceramic filters for filtration of molten iron and non-ferrous metals. The filters from Pyrostat material are designed for filtering gray cast iron, ductile iron, bronze and other nonferrous metals. For filtration of carbon and stainless steel we manufacture ceramic filters from material RK5 based on Al2O3. For filtering aluminium alloys we have specially developed lightweight ceramic material Pyral 15®. Other categories of products include moulded ceramic strainers, which partially serve as a filter while preserving its unique place in the casting system. The filters for aluminum, cast iron and steel are our manufacturing priority. The traditional and still important products are made from technical porcelain and are designed for use in the electrical engineering industry.

    GUFEX products are accredited by the International Ice-Hockey Federation IIHF as official game pucks, manufacture of technical rubber products by custom-made pressing. GUFEX currently supplies it's long lasting and virtually superior ice hockey pucks to the world. You will find the GUFEX puck on every continent and in every country with an ice hockey team ex: ( Russia, USA, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Canada, Slovakia etc.) but also in unexpected countries such as China, Taiwan, JAR, Mexico, Australia etc. GUFEX will soon be expanding it's puck products to include all levels of ice hockey, from beginers to national teams. We produce moulded technical rubber parts for the consumer, building, engineering and electrical industry which forms an important part of our product line.

    The company was set up in 1991 and in short period of time became one of the most important companies in foundry and heat engineering. The foundry uses two technologies – casting in sand moulds and casting in metal moulds, depending on customer´s request, quantity required, complexity of casting and - last but not least - quality requirements. When the castings is cast, such operations as trimming, grinding and shot blasting are performed and, if the customer requests so, also additional operations, such as thermal processing, machining, impregnation, varnishing and semi-assemblies.
