Our main activity is the transportation of steel to and from the Benelux and Germany. We specialize in coil transport, transport of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) on pallets within Belgium and to the Netherlands and Germany. We also handle container transport of PP and PE from Beringen to the Meerhout container terminal and to the port of Antwerp. Additionally, we arrange return shipments from Germany.

Recycling diverse non-ferrous scrap streams in an environmentally friendly manner is the core business of Craenhals Metal Terminal NV. Since 1996, our company has been recycling non-ferrous fractions and processing them through flotation techniques into raw materials for the non-ferrous industry. We handle both non-ferrous shredder waste and non-ferrous from waste incineration. Furthermore, we are happy to assist with the recycling, processing, and trading of non-ferrous metals such as shredded aluminum fractions, refrigerator aluminum, and zorba grade.

Belgian Scrap Terminal has 8 locations in Flanders, Wallonia, Northern France, Luxembourg, and Germany, where scrap is received, stripped of potential harmful substances, and recycled. Belgian Scrap Terminal has a fleet of shredders, shears, and presses at our various terminals for the processing of this scrap.

The terminal is located 4 km from the Port of Antwerp and offers a 340 m quay with an impressive 45,000 m² of container facilities and 90,000 m² of heated and secured warehouses.
