The result of a joint venture between the American MBA Polymers Inc. and the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group, MGG Polymers was formed in 2004. MBA Polymers Austria, based in the town of Kematen an der Ybbs, was fully acquired by the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group in 2017 and renamed MGG Polymers. MGG Polymers makes use of a revolutionary procedure in which a wide variety of plastic types and processing qualities from plastic-rich waste streams (WEEE) are economically reclaimed.
