...A free-running, contactless progressive milling screw equipped with cutting tips transports the material to the center of the silo, where it falls down through the machine. Radial to the silo axis, the feed for removing the stored material is provided by a pneumatic cylinder with a push fork. The machine is mounted in an opening at the bottom of the silo. The double bearing minimizes the partially enormous pressure of the silo contents above the machine on the bearing friction.
