Usage: Holding the fire blanket by the ribbons, completely cover the fire by placing it at the center of the flames. Turn off the electricity or gas. Leave covered until cool. Dispose of the fire blanket after use. This kitchen fire blanket complies with the European standard EN 1869:1997, marked "DE EN 1869:1997" by TüV (a German inspection body working on product validation/certification). EUROPEAN STANDARD EN 1869:1997: this standard stipulates that the fire blanket must be able to withstand temperatures of around 900°C caused by ignited oils (such as soybean or rapeseed oils) + the electrical resistance of the blanket must not be less than 1 Ohm.
