Sudversilbern

Sudsilver layers are deposited as silk-gloss, white silver coatings with a thickness of 0.1-0.5 µm and a purity of 99.90%, and they are RoHS compliant. In the process of sudsilvering, silver deposition occurs without current through ion exchange. Since silver is a noble metal, less noble metals such as non-ferrous metals can also be coated with silver without current. This means that during the ion exchange, silver is reduced from a solution and deposits onto the less noble metal.
