There is no temperature increase, which prevents issues with high temperatures and saves on cooling, – With so-called solid products, therefore without solvents or photoinitiators, – Significantly reduces energy consumption, – Instantaneously, and therefore in a minimal space – Improves gloss, abrasion resistance, and adhesion to the substrate. In the food sector, the EB process serves a decontamination function. In this case, electrons break down the DNA of parasitic cells, such as bacteria, and significantly extend the shelf life of irradiated products.
