A mechanical rotary door lock in combination with powerful bi-stable solenoid, end position sensors for the closed and the locked position of the door, as well as central connectors and an emergency opener results in a highly compact unit. High-quality plastics contribute to increased mechanical stability and long product life even with high ambient temperatures

The compact solenoid lock SL convinces with a very high static holding force. The solenoid door lock integrates a high-performance linear solenoid, which has monostable design. The monostable design enables that the door can be locked every time when the solenoid is not energized. In order to unlock, the solenoid needs to be energized for a short time.

The compact solenoid lock AL convinces with a very high static holding force. The solenoid door lock integrates a high-performance linear solenoid, which has bistable design. The bistable design enables that the door will be locked only if the solenoid is energized for a short time. In order to unlock, the solenoid needs to be energized for a short time as well. The polarity needs to be reversed.

Locking solenoids of the LLV series are characterized by high forces, compact design and a lateral force carrying capacity of up to 4,000 N. The electromagnetic locking units were specially developed for use in protective devices. They are available in the versions currentless locking (CL; spring force keeps bolt in locking position) and currentless unlocking (CU; spring force keeps bolt open, locked when energized). Solenoid armature and locking bolt are guided separately in maintenance-free bearings. The latch bolt is made of stainless. The microswitch, which is installed directly in the latch housing, signals the respective position of the latch bolt approx. 0.5 mm to 1 mm after leaving the stroke start position or before reaching the stroke end position. The locking solenoids are manufactured and tested according to DIN VDE 0580/07.2000.
