Mica Plates

Mica materials will replace lung-penetrable and thus cancer-causing ceramic fiber and glass fiber materials in the future. Our customers are already using mica for insulation purposes in many areas today. The insulation values are unattainable with alternative materials. Where other materials achieve good heat reduction only with greater thicknesses, this effect is already achieved with mica at thicknesses between 1-3 mm. Mica is also gaining increasing importance in the pure sealing sector. Applications in temperature ranges above 400° C are increasingly covered with mica, as graphite materials begin to burn in this temperature range when exposed to oxygen.
