A small amount of NS1 remains associated with intracellular organelles where it is thought to be involved in viral replication. Each test window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When the sample is applied to the wells (S) on the cassette, the liquid flows sideways on the surface of the test strip. If there is a sufficient amount of Feline immunodeficiency antibody or Feline leukemia virus antigen in the sample, a visible T line will be displayed in the corresponding test window. Line C should always appear after applying a sample, thus indicating that the result is valid.

Panleukopenia Test is a Rapid Cassette (Stool/Vomit) lateral flow immunochromatographic test for qualitative detection of Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV Ag) from cat feces or vomit. If the sample contains Feline Panleukopenia Virus, a colored line appears in the area of the test line indicating a positive result. If the sample does not contain FPV antigens, no colored line does not appear in the test line area indicating a negative result. As a procedural control function, a colored line will always appear in the control line area, indicating that the correct volume of sample has been added and membrane removal has occurred.
