Roumaguet Sweet wine 2021 Bordeaux

ORIGIN Sweet White Wine Château Cazeau boasts a magnificent Girondine chartreuse, whose origins date back to the 16th century. It is ideally located in Gornac, along one of the oldest routes of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, just a few kilometers east of Sauveterre de Guyenne. Its vineyard spans over 300 hectares, with 7 hectares dedicated to producing this Entre-Deux-Mers sweet white wine. The estate benefits from an exceptional location on clay-limestone hillsides reaching an altitude of 110 meters, with predominantly southern exposure. The vines, planted all around the château, are thoughtfully distributed between red and white grape varieties according to the terroirs. With an average age of 35 years, the vines are carefully cultivated using traditional methods, with respect for the environment. The large winery is equipped with all modern facilities (temperature control, pneumatic presses, micro-oxygenation) necessary for producing fine wines.

ORIGIN - TERROIR Roumaguet, born from a rigorous selection by our oenologists, pays homage to the noble terroirs of Bordeaux. The Bordeaux appellation covers more than 40,000 hectares, representing the entirety of the Bordeaux vineyard. The richness of its soils and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean provide ideal conditions for the production of exceptional wines. The nose reveals lovely notes of citrus and exotic fruits. On the palate, it is creamy and well-balanced between roundness and acidity, with a fruity and lingering finish. ORIGINS White Wine, Francs Côtes de Bordeaux Appellation The origins of Château Ad Francos date back to the 6th century, when Clovis, the first Christian king of France, defeated the Visigoths and conquered the land of Aquitaine. A Frankish garrison settled on this strategic hill, which was named "Ad Francos" (literally meaning "home of the Franks"), giving its name to the present-day village of Francs. The château, constructed between the 9th and 18th centuries, is an eclectic treasure of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Its history has been shaped by key events such as plagues, the Hundred Years' War, invasions, religious wars, and the French Revolution. Various families who inhabited the château expanded it over time, each leaving their unique imprint.
