Two-way solenoid valve is a common type of solenoid valve used in so many applications. Fluids can be safely controlled and put to optimal use with the help of valves. Many industrial applications require the use of such valves to be automated. In order to automate and conveniently utilize the full potential of fluids, solenoid valves are essential. A general-purpose 2-way Solenoid valve is used where the application should be able to start and stop the flow as and when needed. These valves have two ports that each connect to either the inlet or the outlet and use an internal plunger to open or close an orifice to control the fluid flowing through those valves. It can be configured as "Normally Open" or "Normally Closed". A Normally open two-way solenoid valve allows the media to pass through its port when the coil is de-energized and a Normally Closed valve allows the media to pass through its port when the coil is energized.
