Optical Level Switches for Hazardous Areas - The optical level switches UFGS…EX from EGE are ideal for detecting liquids with low dielectric constants, such as lubricating oils, hydrocarbons, or solvents. The UFGS…EX level sensors detect changes in the refractive index upon contact with the medium at the sensor tip. The sensors, featuring a stainless steel housing and glass tip, are also suitable for detecting aggressive media such as solvents. The sensors are available with Ex certifications according to ATEX and IECEx.
