Gateway Module - ESX-4CS-GW - The ESX-4CS-GW is a robust and powerful gateway module

The ESX-4CS-GW is the first controller of the fourth generation. The new platform is based on the current AURIX family from Infineon, which includes both multi-core and single-core processors. The ESX-4CS-GW (C = Compact, S = Small, GW = Gateway) is equipped with a multi-core processor that features four internal processors. Three of these cores are available for creating your application, while the fourth core serves as a lock-step core for safety-critical applications. The processor includes the following internal memory: 8 MB Flash, 2 MB RAM, and 32 kB EEPROM. An external 16 MB Flash memory is also available. Since the device is designed as a central gateway module, it features five Ethernet interfaces, four of which represent a mobile-compatible Ethernet switch, along with six CAN interfaces. Additionally, CAN-FD can be supported. The number of I/Os (12 x In, 6 x Out) has been tailored to the concept of the gateway module.
