RK Rose+Krieger has optimized its proven profile linear unit RK Duoline for use in clean rooms and offers spindle and belt-driven RK Duoline Clean linear axes with or without vacuum connection in the common sizes 60 and 80. A total of eight different variants have been successfully tested according to EN ISO 14644-1 and received certification for clean rooms of globally recognized classes 1 (RK Duoline Clean 60 SU with vacuum connection at 0.5 m/s) to 5 (RK Duoline Clean 80 Z without vacuum connection at 0.5 m/s). All necessary tests to demonstrate clean room suitability were conducted at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA in Stuttgart.
