OSB line

OSB/3 is made from pine chips, which come primarily from nurturing forest clearcuts. In the outer layers, the chips are arranged parallel to the longer side of the board, while in the inner layers they are arranged perpendicularly. This microstructure gives it high rigidity and resistance to bending. Thanks to the use of modern technologies, the board is characterized by excellent parameters. It is easy and inexpensive to process, resistant to harsh weather conditions, and provides excellent acoustic insulation. A big plus is also the ease of its installation. It is available in two variants: with straight edges and with four-sided tongue-and-groove milled edges.

Oriented Strand Board, OSB for short, is made from orientated layers of small chips, or strands, from fast growing, rapidly renewable trees including Poplar, Aspen and or Pine. These strands are bonded together with a mix of waxes and resins and then compressed under immense pressure to form the boards. Due to its comparatively lower cost and stronger shear strength, when compared to Plywood, OSB has become the construction industry’s panel of choice.
