The C 650 is designed in the HERMLE modified gantry configuration. The integrated rigid clamping table can accommodate workpieces weighing up to a maximum of 3000 kg (1050 x 900 x 600 mm) in the 3-axis version, making it ideally suited for tool and mold making as well as mechanical engineering. On the swivel rotary table, in the 5-axis version, workpieces weighing up to a maximum of 1500 kg (Ø 900 x 600 mm) can be machined with high precision. The travel paths, with a stainless steel clad working area, measure 1050 x 900 x 600 mm with a throat depth of 775 mm and a door opening of 1050 mm. Optimal conditions for easy and safe crane loading. The C 650 has an integrated tool magazine for 42 tools. The control panel can also be easily swiveled to the tool loading station, allowing the operator to directly enter the tool data into the tool table in the control system.
