MAISON VIGNES & MER

MAISON VIGNES & MER is a House founded in Provence in 2016. The vines are very well maintained and have been cultivated for many years in the Bandol vineyard, around the municipality of La Cadière d'Azur. Located in the homeland of rosé wines, we offer a range of rosés, in vin de pays, in Côtes de Provence, and in Bandol. We also have powerful yet fine Bandol white, rosé, and red wines. Bandol wines have been renowned for centuries in France and abroad. Bandol was even one of the favorite wines of King Louis XV, who served it at royal banquet tables. By the sea, in the Var department, the vineyard extends over south-facing hills, in terraces called "restanques." As for red and rosé wines, the king grape variety is Mourvèdre. There are also other grape varieties that are present: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Carignan. For white wines, there is a blend of two main grape varieties: Clairette and Ugni blanc. The concept of blending is very important because each grape variety brings its specificity, and even in small quantities, it guarantees the complexity of the wines.
