Affordable model with many mechanical options Open frame hub magnets are the most cost-effective among hub magnets. Like other hub magnets, these open frame hub magnets are on/off actuators that develop force in one direction when energized. The return force must be provided externally, such as by a return spring. They are used in many designs across a variety of applications. The standard versions of open frame hub magnets are pulling. Upon customer request, pushing variants can also be manufactured. We also offer mono- and bistable hub magnets, where one position is held without power by a permanent magnet.
