(FH400) High Retention Pin with Head - SOLID PINS

The SPIROL FH400 head retention pin features a series of barbs that extend along the entire length of the pin. The head retention pins are an excellent substitute for self-tapping screws in plastic assemblies, as the barbed pins fit into standard molded (or drilled) holes, install much faster than screws, and eliminate issues associated with cross-threading or tilting during installation. Unlike screws that resist pull-out (or loosening) by being tightened to a predefined torque, the barbed pins are held in place by the plastic that covers the aggressive design barbs. The head provides a positive stop and is also used to retain a thin component on a thicker component in an assembly. SPIROL's FH400 head barbed pins are available in metric diameters ranging from Ø2 mm to Ø6 mm and inch diameters.
