GEKOBLOCK Peripheral Pump

The pump is hermetically sealed, and the conveyed media only comes into contact with PTFE, PFA, silicon carbide (SiC), and oxide ceramics. The product is particularly suitable for pumping low-boiling liquids due to its insensitivity to cavitation. A gas content of up to 30 percent in the flow does not pose a problem for the functionality of the peripheral pump. Construction of the Peripheral Pumps The impeller made of PTFE is movably arranged on the pump shaft and is supported on both sides by sliding bearings made of SiC. Inside the pump housing, two SiC insert rings are arranged. A constant gap distance between these elements, regardless of prevailing operating conditions, is ensured at every tightening tension of the housing anchor screws.
