LES TISSAGES DE CHARLIEU

The company Tissages de Charlieu was established in 1967 on a site dedicated to textiles since the early 20th century. It was taken over in 1997 by Eric Boël. The company diversified into plain weaves in 2006 by acquiring the industrial weaving division of the Lapalud company in Thizy. The fabrics from Tissages de Charlieu are designed and manufactured exclusively at our site in Charlieu, near Roanne, ensuring you the guarantee of 100% French production. This production helps sustain local expertise and maintain employment in the Rhône-Alpes region. PRODUCTION CAPACITY 2,200,000 meters per year 80 recently updated looms operating 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with a jacquard and plain weaving capacity of 2.2 million meters per year. All production is carried out exclusively at the Charlieu factory (42). In response to the unprecedented crisis our country is facing, we have decided to mobilize our production facilities to manufacture protective masks to contribute to the fight against the Covid-19 virus.
