La Veste de Jacques is a French clothing brand, born from nearly 200 years of expertise from a textile company in the Cholet region (49): Mulliez-Flory, which outfits employees of the largest French groups and all structures with a medical-social character. Long regarded as a symbol of social status, workwear was originally intended solely to protect its wearer. It needed to be robust and practical. Rich in nearly 200 years of history and driven by a passion for workwear, a group of men and women, employees of Mulliez-Flory, sought to reinvent this popular garment and create a quality product that is simple, durable, and straightforward for the general public. The idea was launched... La Veste de Jacques by Mulliez-Flory was born. Like jeans, the sailor shirt, or the little black dress, it is an essential garment that one keeps for a lifetime, transcending eras and generations without aging a bit. One thing is certain: it is the way you use it that will give it life! Our choices of materials and colors reflect the origins of the work jacket's history. The idea was to stay true to a shape and materials that have been tested in workwear. The unique fabric, woven in France, in the Pays de la Loire, is available in two shades of blue: the original royal blue and a timeless, elegant navy blue.
