KRITEC GMBH

The company KriTec was founded by our current managing director, Mr. Klaus Kriesche, on February 1, 1989, as a trade in pneumatic cylinders with double-sided ball-bearing guide columns. These guide cylinders were produced in Switzerland and were a novelty in Germany even before companies like Bosch and Festo had them in their program. When these companies launched these guide cylinders on a large scale and prices fell sharply, KriTec shifted its focus to the distribution of special machines and devices. Due to great success, production was soon started in-house with only one mechanical engineer as the sole employee in a double garage. Due to space constraints, the company then moved to operational premises in the industrial area of Königsberger Straße in Lüdenscheid, where special machines, mainly for testing and assembly technology, were produced very successfully for 13 years. A specialty of KriTec at that time was semi- and fully automatic machines for the assembly and testing of three-dimensional workpieces, such as clips for automotive trim or the assembly of chrome strips on car front and rear windows. The aluminum profiles required for the construction of special machines were partly produced in our own tools, with only small and very large profiles being purchased from German production. As the legal regulations for machine construction around the year 2000 became increasingly unattractive with CE regulations, product liability, 3-year warranty, etc., amid falling prices, we phased out the special machine sector and filled the freed capacities with the professional production of the entire profile system area. Due to the rapidly increasing sales figures of our KriTec aluminum profile system, the premises quickly became too small, so the current property with approximately 2,500 m² of production space and about 300 m² of office space was purchased on over 12,500 m² of land in 2008. Here, in 2013, in addition to profile construction, the additional area of water jet technology was established. Up to 4,000 x 2,000 mm large surface elements of any material are manufactured here with tenth precision according to data and integrated into profile frames or delivered as components with profile construction kits or as pure contract work. At the repeated request of our customers, we have reactivated our own machining center with X 800, Y 500, and Z 550 mm travel on May 9, 2016, and can now also offer you machine components or further processed water jet parts.
