InFocus - TIG Welding Torch

InFocus is a high-performance TIG technology. Its precision and reliability make InFocus welding suitable for automated use on linear axes, robots, and other guiding systems. Almost all steels, non-ferrous metals, or galvanized sheets can be joined with or without filler metal; for example, CrNi steels up to a sheet thickness of 10 mm in a single pass. InFocus welding offers an alternative for welding the root pass of thicker sheets. By using the TIG keyhole process, the bead can be made thicker. The reduced cross-section of the resulting joint decreases the number of layers required for subsequent submerged arc welding. It is also unnecessary to seal the roots when using InFocus as the root pass.
