The main advantage of machines of this type is their simple construction and the possibility of using them for materials with fine, medium and coarse grain size, even up to 200 mm. Capacity adjustment in these feeders is done by changing the position of counterweights in motor vibrators. In addition, for the special version of the Vibrating Feeders, there is a possibility of additional smooth adjustment of capacity in the range of +/- 20% through a frequency converter. The chute of the device can be equipped with light covers or with charging hoppers. The feeders can also be made as dustproof or soundproof machines. The feeder chute can be made of carbon or stainless steel. Capacity depends on the type of material and the size of the feeder.

Grate feeders are mainly used for materials with medium and large grain size, they are perfect as feeders for crushers and for stone processing.
