Print shipping labels without backing material, avoid thousands of tons of waste material and, at the same time, reduce your carbon footprint – this is all possible thanks to our sustainable and innovative PA4 / PA6 InNo-Liner Print & Apply System. The material is printed, cut, activated and applied with the labeling machine and the combined cutting component, micro-atomization component and linear tamp unit. Thanks to the HERMA InNo-Liner and the patented, multi-layer pressure-sensitive adhesive, thousands of tons of backing paper or backing film and the cost of their disposal can be saved every year. The labels can be pre-printed in color using the conventional printing process. The labeling machine can be equipped with an optional thermal transfer printer or thermal direct printer for printing the variable data.

The requirements for product labelling are increasing and becoming more and more diverse. Track and Trace, product tracing, quality assurance, GS1 regulations require secure and reliable application of variable data. This applies to almost all industries, whether logistics, pharmaceuticals, food industry or chemicals such as agrochemicals. When printing variable data such as graphics or Data Matrix, barcodes, QR codes and comparable code types, uncompromising quality must be implemented. The EDS 420i and EDS 620i printing and dispensing systems are designed for industrial use and enable you to label your products and their packaging precisely, reliably and quickly using different applicators and label transfer modules. The modular design of the systems was the main focus in the development of the printing and dispensing systems

The containers are picked up by the in feed star wheel and transferred to the container table. The container rotation begins when they are positioned between container plates and centering bells. The speed of the feed roller is adjusted to the required label length for continuous web tension. A standard threading unit ensures optimal film feed. In the cutting unit, the labels are precisely cut while a PLC command and servo-motor provide an exact cut-off point. Two narrow strips of hot melt glue the labels together, which are applied by a heated glue roller to the leading and trailing label edges. The label with the glue strip on its leading edge is transferred to the container. This glue strip ensures an exact label positioning and a positive bond. As the container is rotated during label transfer, labels are applied tightly. Gluing of the trailing edge ensures proper bonding. Process: In feed bottle → pre-position →label cutting → gluing → labeling → label by press out → finish

The Accraply Shrink Sleeve Models RF150 & RF250 are compact, operator friendly and easy to maintain shrink sleeve applicators that can be used to apply full body or tamper-evident bands to a variety of container shapes and sizes. Shrinkable material is cut to length and synchronously applied at conveyor speeds for the best possible material-to-container placement accuracy. Oval, round and square containers made of plastic, glass, or metal can be handled at speeds up to 150 (RF150) or 250 (RF250) per minute at a 30mm cut-length. Sleeve materials made from PVC, PET/PETG, OPS, or PLA can be run at thicknesses between 40 to 70 microns. The RF Series applicators may be easily customised to suit the exact requirements of a project using standard, compatible modules. Change parts for the RF Series applicators are low cost items that can be fitted in minutes without the need for tools, keeping downtime to a minimum.
