AWK Verschlüsse GmbH & Co KG pursues a corporate policy based on three fundamental pillars: quality, flexibility, and service. Environmental responsibility is always a priority. Our dedicated team produces around 1.3 billion closures per year in two shifts. The history of AWK Verschlüsse GmbH & Co KG dates back to 1989, and production began in November 1990 with five production lines. In 1997, we achieved certification according to DIN ISO 9001. With the integration of PP production in 2003, we expanded our portfolio by seven production lines. In 2014, we launched production machines for the manufacture of PVC-free closures. Our product range includes various types of closures, such as gas-tight aluminum closures, venting aluminum closures (Topvent), and pilferproof closures. These are used in a variety of sectors including mineral water, soft drinks, beer, wine, sparkling wine, milk and milk-based drinks, as well as spirits, pharmaceuticals, juices, and kombucha.
