Containers are available in a wide range of sizes, with diameters of 3 m up to 40 m and volumes up to more than 10,000 m3. WIDE CHOICE OF MATERIALS There is a wide variety of materials to choose from, ranging from steel and galvanised steel through to high alloy stainless steels (e.g. 1.4301 [304] or 1.4571 [316Ti]), according to the requirements of the storage medium in each case. Developed in house, Verinox is a combination of galvanised steel for the outside and stainless steel for the inside of the container. Verinox is an impressive material due to its excellent cost/benefit ratio

Depending on the industrial sector, more or less complex processes take place with more or less difficult media. These media are needed either for the production process itself or for supporting processes and can have very special properties. Thanks to the VERINOX used, Lipp can tailor the tank material exactly to medium and process and thus offer the best technical and economic solution. Parts and accessories can also be individually selected and installed according to the project. This means that Lipp system solutions can be considered both for simple solutions such as part of a fire protection system, but also for complex requirements, such as in the pharmaceutical and beverage industry. So much flexibility in terms of the possibilities for use is a powerful argument for cooperation with Lipp. Engineering offices gain a partner who covers a wide range of applications and provides the same high quality worldwide.

Stainless steel is expensive. Verinox offers the same level of quality as the conventional material used for the construction of tanks and containers while using less stainless steel. With Verinox – the duplex material developed by Lipp – a sheet of stainless steel is joined to a sheet of galvanised steel by means of a separation layer. Three components form the basis for this material that is ideal for tank and container construction not only does it have outstanding physical properties but it also uses a reduced quantity of expensive stainless steel, resulting in lower costs. With this invention, Lipp has successfully retained the economic benefit of the LIPP Double Seam System while improving the material savings made. VERINOX ENABLES STAINLESS STEEL TO BE USED INSIDE TANKS – ESPECIALLY WITH MEDIA THAT REQUIRE SUFFICIENT RESISTANCE No open joints due to the folded design Doubly lined in stainless steel with a smooth continuous finish
