Based on the key properties of the flexible material, the rubber-coated filter press is primarily used for the filtration of particularly aggressive suspensions and environments. Aggressive suspensions include, for example, solvents or acids. In this context, a conventional coating of the steel parts is no longer sufficient. THE RUBBER-COATED FILTER PRESS FROM MSE AS A PROTECTIVE MEASURE AGAINST AGGRESSIVE SUSPENSIONS In a complex process, the supporting components of the filter press are coated with a layer of 3mm thick plastic. In the rubber-coated filter press, hydraulic stands, feeding stands, pressure plates, and support beams are hard rubber-coated, while smaller components are made of polypropylene. There is also the option to rubber-coat only the product-contacting components such as the feeding stand and pressure plate. The composition of the rubber coating is tailored to the specific surface requirements of our customers.
