Fibreboard is produced by the wet process from semi-finished wood products from forestry cultivation cuttings and residues from the wood processing industry. Soft, porous fibreboard is most often used in the construction industry, while hard fibreboard is used in the furniture and packaging industry. They have high compressive strength and provide good insulation.
