Hybrid inverters have the advantage that a separate battery inverter is not required. The battery (48V or high-voltage battery) is connected directly to the inverter. It is also possible to initially operate the hybrid inverter without a battery and only install it at a later point in time. The installation effort is significantly lower than with AC-coupled storage systems.
