Here you can see all the advantages of ALWA POR STEEL at a glance: - is porous and is produced as a block or plate in our Gronau facility. - has a good surface structure with excellent porosity. - can be processed (sanded & polished). - prevents compression resistance – injection molding material distributes better in recesses. - is particularly suitable for venting injection and blow molds. - is suitable for all thermoplastics, RIM, and rubber. - is a cost-effective alternative to expensive sintered plates. - can be cleaned with methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Delivery form: Blocks and plates (sawed) in various wall thicknesses (10mm increments) 200 x 300 x 10 – 50 mm The tolerance values are -0/+2.0 mm in length/width and -0/+0.5 mm in plate thickness. Please note the different coefficients of thermal expansion when ALWA POR STEEL is screwed onto a plate or something made of ALWA POR BEIGE (plate, block, or mold).
