AGRO STAR Bentonite Granule Sulfur is an agricultural sulfur composed of sulfur (%90) and Bentonite (%10). After application of AGROSTAR, it begins to dissolve in the soil within 4-7 days, depending on the soil moisture, and completes its primary function of lowering pH and making dormant macro and microelements available within 3-4 weeks. The elemental sulfur in AGROSTAR serves as a source of SO3 due to its oxidation in the soil, ensuring that the pH drops to a certain level and is maintained at that level. Another material in its composition, Bentonite, is a type of clay that can hold up to 10 times its mass in water, thus facilitating the easy decomposition of insoluble elemental sulfur in the soil. This provides a high surface area for the bacteria that will carry out the oxidation of sulfur in the soil.
