EUROPEAN CONVENTION CENTER LUXEMBOURG (ECCL)

Luxembourg, a country of human scale, is located in the heart of Europe. Easily accessible from other European capitals, the city of Luxembourg is just 2 hours and 30 minutes by high-speed train from Paris and only 1 hour by plane from London. Managed by Luxembourg Congrès, the European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL) is undoubtedly one of the most elegant conference centers in Europe. The ECCL is a perfectly suited venue for large-scale events, such as exhibitions, conferences, congresses, or gala evenings. Situated on the Kirchberg plateau, in close proximity to the business district, tourist attractions, and cultural sites, the ECCL is only 7 km from the international airport. The city center, with its restaurants, bars, and shops, is just 2 public transport stops away. Four hotels, including a 5-star hotel, are located next to the ECCL and are easily reachable on foot. The convention center consists of two buildings: The Hemicycle, a magnificent amphitheater with 646 seats and former seat of the European Parliament, is unique in the country. The second building regularly hosts meetings of the Council of Ministers of the European Union. It offers two plenary rooms with a capacity of up to 800 people. Eight meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 380 people and 30 workshop rooms complete the range of options available to congress organizers.
