These units have been especially designed to make glass beads (by Lithium Borates) for XRF and to undertake dissolutions (using acids) for AA and ICP. This is a modular unit. You can start with a single working unit and then always be able to increase the capacity of the same adding up to two more working units, all controlled from a single PC. Being highly automated units, it is possible to control and monitor in real time each step of the fusion process, from one to three samples, simultaneously or independently. The FX Series is one step ahead of the units of its generation, as it heats homogeneously, quickly and efficiently, by electrical induction, without flame and not needing any direct contact. Each of the modules can work synchronized with the others or independently with a different program each, for example when preparing samples of different nature.

This small stirrer is your great ally to prepare a great variety of samples. Mixing liquids is usually required as the prior step to an analysis by ICP or AA. The homogenization of the solid samples with a binding agent is especially recommended for preparing pressed pellets, as well as the correct mixing up of the sample with borates that will later be melted using heat to obtain dissolutions or glass beads.

The status of the Platinumware to make glass beads has got a great influence in the final result of the analysis by XRF. Apart from improving and facilitating the time needed to prepare the samples. Equilab introduces EQ-PUL Polishing Unit, especially designed to offer a firm hold of the different pieces so they can be conveniently sanded and polished. This unit can apply up to 8 selectable turning speeds. It is a small, user-friendly and very versatile unit.

The great versatility of the new MultiEQP-100 makes of this unit an essencial instrument to treat and make metallic samples. Effective to cut, crush and punch metallic samples, it can also prepare press pellets to be analyzed by XRF. The objective of punching the samples is to obtain pins for their ulterior analysis in Elemental Analizers. The objective of the crushing is to achieve flat surfaces wide enough to undertake spark analysis. The touch-screen and the intuitive software enable the user to control easily the ample variety of operations the MultiEQP-100 features. The two magnetic sensors included in the left hand side of the working units allow the automation of all the working cycles.

Today the preparation of metallic samples is undertaken in many and varied ways - depending on the hardness of the metal -. Many times however it is necessary to previously heat the sample to soften the metal and thus facilitate afterwards the processing of the sample, whether by crushing or punching. The EQH-3.0 Induction Heater has been especially designed for heating lollipops and bars to soften them in a minute.
