EARL DOMAINE DES HULOTTES

Le Domaine des Hulottes is a family-owned business primarily focused on cereals, but for the past two years, Hélène has specialized in the cultivation and processing of rhubarb. After taking over the family farm located in Bosquentin in 2016, we (Hélène and Guillaume) wanted to diversify and replant the rhubarb that previously existed on the farm. The activity started with the sale of fresh rhubarb stalks, and for the past two years, we have aimed to bring processed products to market to enhance this little-known product, rhubarb. We hand-pick the stalks on the farm and have them processed by neighboring companies. Lucie, our eldest daughter, who is gentler and more reserved, will be associated with a non-alcoholic rhubarb sparkling drink. Laure, our second little one, who is more lively and mischievous, will be associated with a traditional method at 11% vol. This process, identical to that of making Champagne, is carried out by a winemaker friend. Victor, our youngest, who is quite adventurous but very cuddly, will be associated with a rhubarb rosé made on the farm. The compotes and jams are made by a small association in the department.
