Driesen + Kern was founded in 1977 as a sales company for physical measuring instruments by Mr. Hans-Hermann Driesen and Mr. Helmut Kern. In response to customer demands, the company increasingly shifted towards developing, producing, and marketing its own systems. Investments were made in new technologies for the miniaturization of measuring and storage systems, as well as in an industrial building in Bad Bramstedt. Through our in-house calibration laboratory equipped with a wind tunnel, humidity generator, temperature baths, pressure calibrators, and current/voltage calibrators, the company is able to offer fast and efficient service to its customers. In 1996, Driesen + Kern implemented a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001. Trained engineers and service technicians provide extensive information and advice to customers. Quality and reliability are crucial for the measuring devices manufactured in a miniaturized, compact design. No system leaves the company without a 100% inspection. This ensures safety for the customer and builds trust in the measuring devices and the company. The customers' desire for ever smaller and more powerful measuring and data logger systems has led, especially in the field of assembly and connection technology, to the consistent use of microsystem technology, with which our own sensors are developed and manufactured.
