DOMAINE DU CARDONA

Founded in 1999 in Aude near Narbonne, the Domaine du Cardona is the first French manufacturer of historical beverages made from wine, garrigue honey, spices, herbs, and flowers. From Antiquity to the Renaissance, through the Middle Ages, reproductions of ancient wines from the Domaine du Cardona are currently showcased in over 200 historical sites: castles, abbeys, archaeological sites, various museums, as well as in the world of gourmet food and honey production. François DESNIER selects the best wines from the Corbières terroir to recreate wines and beverages that have marked the history of French gastronomy and Medieval Europe. The Hypocras "Love Potion" remains the flagship product of the estate. "Our products are primarily terroir wines, enriched with garrigue honey for sweetness. We then macerate according to original recipes, blends of spices, plants, fruits, and flowers, to achieve a subtle balance and great finesse on the palate." It is "OUR STORY IN A BOTTLE."
