Lifebuoy

Glasdon lifebuoys fully comply with the Chapter III standards of the SOLAS convention regarding lifesaving appliances, in accordance with the International Life-Saving Appliance Code (LSA) (SOLAS, 1974). Standard models of lifebuoys are supplied with a 30 m long and 8 mm diameter throw line. However, we also offer a 50 m long and 10 mm diameter throw line depending on the location and use of the lifebuoy. To verify their reliability and strength, Glasdon lifebuoys undergo a drop test from over 30 meters in height. If you wish to optimize the visibility of your lifebuoy while providing additional protection for your lifesaving equipment, we also offer the Guardian™ Lifebuoy Cabinet, specially designed to house these accessories. This enclosed cabinet can accommodate the crown lifebuoy model 600 or 750.
