Château Bouscassé - Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh sweet - Brumaire 2012 - 50cl

What an absolute delight this sweet wine from Château Bouscassé is! To create this dessert wine, the grapes were harvested in November (or Brumaire in the French Revolutionary calendar) and then dried on straw (passerillage) to concentrate their aromas and sugars. Following this, a year of aging in new oak barrels was carried out. The result expresses an incredible aromatic richness and a grand balance: notes of roasted pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and orange gracefully blend with aromas of dried fruits (walnuts, hazelnuts) that have developed thanks to the bottle's already over 10 years of age. A cuvée to be enjoyed as is, as an aperitif with foie gras or paired with a fruit dessert!
