Deep Drawing

Deep drawing of all materials. Optimal results achieved through NC control of hydraulic pressure and tool movement paths. Deep drawing is a tensile-compressive forming process in which the sheet metal blank is held in place by a counter holder during the forming process and flows into the draw gap (three-part tool). In principle, the deep drawing process allows for the production of hollow bodies in all shapes (round, oval, rectangular, square). Limitations arise only from the specific part geometry. Due to its typical cost structure (relatively high tool costs with low unit costs), deep drawing is particularly suitable for mass production.
