The founding of our company was an innovation in 1958. It was preceded by the development of a new construction principle for electrical connectors. Since the term "Ei des Kolumbus" was frequently mentioned during the presentation to experts, the company was named after it. This name is internationally protected. The "Columbus-Contact" is the solution for special requirements regarding shock insensitivity, compactness, heat resistance, etc., as well as for all challenging applications. The development of the contacts was accompanied by the development of the surface quality. We can confidently say that we possess extensive experience in this area as well. This experience is continuously applied in our work. Keeping pace with the increasingly refined technology, we successfully apply our findings in the transmission of electrical currents and voltages for linear and rotating designs (such as slip ring transmitters, etc.). This is particularly true for the smallest transmission values, such as data and video signals.
