The Exofalc Choquenet candle filter is used in many industries such as the food industry (sugar refinery, cocoa, etc.), chemicals, alumina, pharmaceuticals, etc. Indeed, its simplicity of use (100% automatic) combined with a technology allowing a high concentration of sludge makes it a formidable thickening filter adaptable to many fields. Choquenet offers the latest generation of carbonator boilers with richter tube technology. A traditional boiler must have a pumping system to allow the recycling of the gas and limed juice (at least 15 times the incoming flow) in order to obtain a homogeneous mixture. The Choquenet technology, on the other hand, makes it possible to obtain a homogeneous carbonated juice without a pumping system, but by simply injecting the CO2 internally via the richter tubes. In addition, the permanent cleaning system of the gas injection part avoids the recurrent opening of the boilers and thus limits production stoppages. Our technology allows a gain in productivity, a more homogeneous mixture for a better filterability, a lower consumption of reagents and thus to reduce the operating and maintenance costs.

The FRMD is used to remove the upper layer of foam, oil or fats. The natural flow within the basin, together with the suction of the pump, attracts the surface of the water towards the center of the FRMD. An adaptable floating weir allows the upper layer to enter the pump and be removed from the basin. The weir and the submersible pump are mounted on a robust floating structure held in place by cables and springs or guiding tubes. Depending on the application and the geometry of the basin, the FRMD can be mounted together with a MIX SL (directional submersible mixer) or MIX-AS (floating downdraft mixer) to help the flow towards the weir. Applicable for removal of oil, fats, bulking + aging sludge, recycling of scum in sludge stabilisation + biogas, SBR and ASP tanks.
