What is Solar Energy Systems? Solar energy systems; It is a system in which solar rays are collected by panels or solar cells and converted into electrical energy. Solar energy panels are a very budget-friendly system in the long run. And it's pretty easy to use, set up, too. The main source in our system is the sun, the energy production cycle is completed when the rays from the sun hit the solar panels and pass through various stages. On the surface of the solar panels used in these systems - photovoltaic panels - there are many solar energy cells. These solar cells, on the other hand, are composed of silicon material, which is abundant in nature, and there are two layers, positive and negative, in order to create electric current in each energy cell. With the absorption of the rays emitted by the sun by these cells, a continuous flow of electrons occurs, resulting in electricity production. Solar energy systems are classified in two different ways as On Grid and Off Grid.

ARU's dual-axis tracking tracker uses optical real-time sensors, slew drives, and actuators to track the movement of the sun and changes its altitude in real time. It shows higher power generation efficiency than traditional fixed power plants. When exposed to natural disasters, our AI technology secures stability and maximizes energy production with real-time backtracking, scattering technology, wind mode, and snow mode. Though technology research and development, we have obtained 13 types of international patents and certifications including UL. Agrophotovoltaics is a business for farmers, fishermen, and livestock farmers to use their idle land to build a PV power generator structure This is a 'PV double-cropping' project that allows farmers to simultaneously generate income from PV power generation facilities along with farming revenues. There are no revenues during the off-season for crop farming, and annual profits are often lost in the event of a natural disaster.

Knight Optical can offer you Stock and Custom Fresnel Lenses, for concentrated photovoltaic applications in a range of materials such as PMMA Acrylic and Borosilicate. CPV is an application which generates electricity from sunlight. The key difference between this technology and conventional photovoltaics (solar panels) is the inclusion of optical components. Utilising optical components which focuses the sunlight onto solar cells increases the efficiency of the electricity generation. Knight Optical provides fresnel lenses which consist of a flat surface with interspace concentric steps whereby each step corresponds to the surface of a conventional lenses. PMMA Acrylic is a preferred material for CPV systems as it is very lightweight when used in a large size. Specialist grades of PMMA are also utilised which absorb the UV light and thus reduces the effects of solarisation i.e. the yellowing of the optical material due to exposure to UV.
