AUTEX AUTOTEILE EXPORT GMBH

The AUTEX Autoteile Export GmbH in its current form was established in 2006 through the merger of the two companies Klotz Industrie- & Autoteile GmbH and AUTEX Autoteile Export GmbH. Founded in 1954, Klotz GmbH evolved over the years into a successful FAG distribution partner in the Rhineland. Its significant success, including in international export business, was largely due to its pioneering work in introducing wheel bearing sets under the HK brand. The progress in the wholesale sector was so extensive that in 1994, a division of business areas became necessary. This led to the formation of HK Autoteile GmbH as a manufacturer and Klotz Ind. & Autoteile GmbH as a regional wholesaler. Later, HK Autoteile became part of the FAG Group and has since merged into the Schaeffler Group. In 1978, AUTEX Autoteile Export GmbH was founded as a subsidiary of Lemförder Metallwaren AG and was part of the ZF Trading Group until October 2005. The successful distribution of the GK water pump quickly became a key pillar of the business. The merger of both companies resulted in the current product range. With belt drive components and GK water pumps, AUTEX has established a strong reputation worldwide and achieved the status of IPAS-International Preferred ATR Supplier with the GK water pump in collaboration with the trading cooperation ATR International AG.
