IKO Roller Bearings are heavy duty bearings with rollers incorporated in a double row. They are nonseparable bearings with a high load rating. They can withstand not only radial loads but axial loads as well, which are supported at the contacts between the shoulders of the inner and outer rings and the end faces of the rollers. They should be used at the fixing side of a shaft. Like needle roller bearings, they are also compact. Roller bearing types include caged, full complement and the type for sheaves, and they can be selected based on the operating conditions. These bearings are used in heavyduty machinery such as construction equipment, and industrial machines.

A specialized design combines an external cylinder with a cylindrical raceway and balls that are incorporated in the retainer, making rotary and linear motion in the axial direction possible simultaneously with rotational motion. Small Rolling Frictional Resistance Incorporating a ball with high accuracy into the precisely polished external cylinder results in small rolling frictional resistance and extremely smooth rolling motion together with reciprocal motion. Low Inertia Since the retainer has high rigidity and is lightweight, it has low motion inertia, making it suitable for rolling motion and reciprocal motion in highspeed operations. A Variety of Models Standard and heavy load models are available, each with different load ratings, and each offered with or without seals. Super Precision After the raceway surface of the external cylinder and shaft are heat treated, they receive an ultraprecision finish and are set to zero or a slight preload state by incorporating high precision steel balls. This provides extremely high accuracy in both rotary and linear motion. Super Small Size Tiny balls incorporated in a thin external cylinder result in a very small diameter and small sectional height. Since each component is precisely ground and adjusted to ideal preload conditions, extremely smooth and stable operation with low frictional resistance over a long period of time is possible.
