ALU-TECH-TRADE GMBH

The company was founded in 1999 under the name "Metall Handel GmbH" with a production site in Vöcklamarkt by Mr. Wilhelm Dastig, who at that time already had nearly 30 years of experience in leadership positions in the aluminum industry (Alusuisse, SAG, AMAG, Klöckner, ...). Soon, the space became too cramped, and with the relocation to Elixhausen in 2004, the name was changed to alu-tech-trade GmbH. The business continuously evolved from a focus on trade to a service-oriented operation in its current form. In 2006, it was taken over by the current owners, Dr. Birgit and Dr. Michael Dastig. In 2007, partly due to the unsatisfactory availability of well-trained skilled workers in the Salzburg area, the company moved to Mureck. With the new opportunities, rapid development towards the current range of services took place. In 2011, with the move to the newly constructed production building, the available space was more than doubled, and investments in new production technologies have been continuously made, expanding the possibilities for our customers.
